Headphone and controller problem

Hi, I am having an issue where my Bluetooth headset and controller keeps disconnecting mid game, this only happens whilst I’m playing call of duty modern warfare 2. I have have tried deleting the game from the xbox and re installing the game but still
keeps happening, i have put my xbox back to factory settings but had no luck! Has anyone had the same problem or can me help fix this?

I have the same problem when using a headphone through the controller headphone jack.

This. I have the same exact problem. Xbox one controller will not turn on the xbox with the headphones plugged in. It will not be recognized by the xbox at all, even if powered up and the xb button is pressed.

With headphones removed the controller acts normally and will turn the system on.

I hope somebody has an answer as to if I have a defective controller or headphone.

i have had similar issues and eventually they just reconnect. can you explain further

Might there be a problem with your headphone jack?

Just got new headphones recently as well as a new controller so I dont believe either of those are the source of the problem.

if possible try testing your headset on another controller, problems with the control's headphone jack is very unusual
