Heading question

Am I missing something, or can someone tell me how to do this?

Is there a way to force your player to kick the ball instead of head it? Very frustrating when it should be an obvious kicked shot or pass, and the player attempts a header instead. Usually ends up with very little power and/or accuracy.

I understand the new purple heading for arcade kinect, but what does the new orange heading on some of the recent games mean?

The OP's question is, "Is Modern Warfare 3 the new Battlefield?" The answer is a HUGE no. MW3 is very much just another COD game.

Whereas some of you believe BF is heading into COD territory, COD is definitely not heading into BF territory.

 

When you receive a cross, press B to head. If you want to finesse header, press RB+B. If you want a chip header, press LB+B.

OP, I don't know if there is a way. Perhaps try to control your player and move him back to where the ball is going to land so it is at his feet.

 

@Eggnogga Thanks, i can try that, sometimes its off a close cross or a lobbed through ball so almost in stride or barely enough time to react. Really annoying sometimes.

 

It's all about timing and positioning. Try pressing LT and moving the player a little in front of the ball if you want to achieve a bicycle kick etc. For a front volley try it too, just time it well.
