    Hey RedFoxx,

    You are correct. The headset is just for chat audio, it does not play game or system audio through that earpiece.

    Head phones.

    They are just headphones without a mic.

    As you won't be chatting you could either plug directly in to your TV to listen tot he game sound, or purchase the chat adapter and plug in to that. Going directly via the TV will save you buying anything else.

    You won't get any chat though unless you get a headset that has a mic.

    What kind of adapter do you mean? There is no microphone on the headset you have so there wouldn't be any chat.

    Well the choice is yours mate. They are just headphones and don't do voice, if they do a similar pair with a headset for voice attached they might be a better bet.

    Hand on mate, I've had another look at these and it seems to say it has a built in mic. the mic is inline with the remote on the wire.

    You will need to get an audio adapter to be able to connect these to your controller (like this:

    www.amazon.com/.../ref=sr_1_6    ) if you don't already have one and give them a go before you swap them out.

    Apologies for the confusion as I didn't see the mic boom on the side of the headset. Not sure how good the voice quality will be, but worth trying if you can.

    They don't specify (or at least I cannot find it anywhere) what format they use (CTIA or OMTP) for the connection so if you find that out, you will be able to tell if it works.

    I'd say that was a good call. If you are happy with stereo, then I know the Microsoft ones seem to get good reviews and are not too expensive.
