    I have had the same problem ever since installing MS Jigsaw. When I download a new collection it never installs. I choose the collection (a free one like Oceans) or one that 'bought' with gold bars (Winter Wonderland). I hit the Download box and it
    downloads right up to the end of the progress indicator. Then NOTHING. The progress indicator stays complete but the puzzle collection is not available to play. Sometimes a sad mask appears. So I download again. NOTHING.

    I am logged in to Xbox and Windows.

    My Windows 8.1 is up to date.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled MS Jigsaw app.

    I have synced the app licence stuff.

    I've run the App troubleshooter.

    I have rebooted, restarted and everything else I can think of or that I can find on the Internet as suggestions.

    I've checked my WIndows store account information to make sure payment info is correct and valid (I thought perhaps it may check there even if the price was $0.00).

    I posted the issue on the facebook page a few weeks ago but after initially seeing my post it then disappeared.

    I have tried all of this so many times, I've lost count. And then today I started MS Jigsaw only to find my puzzles in the 2 base colections show none have been completed!!!!! This has happened before even though I am ALWAYS logged in to my account
    when I play. I have had to do those puzzles so many times the thought of doing them all again in order to get to any new ones is down right dispiriting, to put it nicely. So much for being logged in to make sure we don't lose our progress?

    This is a great game if only it worked.

    There is nothing unusual on my Dell XPS laptop or about my set up that should interfere. Java is up to date. Drivers are up to date. Windows is up to date. SSD is not full. I've even tried the downloads with my McAfee firewall off and antivirus disabled.
    The collections download and then NOTHING. NOTHING.

    What is wrong and, please, how do I make it work properly????

    Game freezing

    I've got this problem where every time I try to fast travel the game freezes and stops working.
    I've tried trading disks with a friend and it was the same, he played fine with my copy and I couldn't with his.
    This led me to believe the problem was with the installation, so I uninstalled from the drive and re-installed with his copy.
    The problem stayed the same, still no fast travel for me he same problem ever since installing Mi :(
    Any ideas for fixing this problem?

    I'm having a pretty similar issue. I used my gold to purchase several puzzle packs, and played some of them just fine. Then one day, my puzzle packs were gone from the My Collections box. I went into the "See all Collections" box and the puzzles I purchased
    are there and the "Download" button is active, but when I click on that, it shuts the game down. I can not download ANY of the puzzle packs, even when I tried purchasing a new one...it deducted my gold, but did the same thing...shut the game down when I clicked
    on the download button. I tried uninstalling, resetting the store cache, reinstalling, etc. as outlined on the Facebook Notes page, but none of those steps have helped...it's still doing the same thing. I'm using Windows 8.1 64 bit, on a Gateway NE series
    Laptop. Please HELP!!

    I think you might have already contacted us on Facebook.

    For anyone with the same issue, please read and try this:

    This is most likely caused by a connection issue. Please try to get closer to your Wi-Fi, make sure your data isn’t being set to “limited” in your OS, or try connecting through a wired connection. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, then ensure you're signed
    into Live and delete your “LocalState” cache folder for Jigsaw. You can find it under \Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftJigsaw_8wekyb3d8bbwe .

    Yes, I did leave a message on Facebook also, but nothing posted there has helped. This suggestion didn't help either. I'm right next to my Wi-Fi, and my connection is excellent. There are no limits on data set in my OS. Deleting the "LocalState" cache
    didn't seem to do anything..? But then, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "make sure you are signed into Live"? Are you saying I should be signed into my Live account within Microsoft Jigsaw, then delete the cache? What do I do after that, restart the
    game, reboot my laptop, or something else? Please elaborate a bit...thanks.

    This is NOT a connection problem, exasperating the problem is the account sign in being horribly designed not optimized and the amount of data and number of transactions that take place between the server and app. It does not work well for any of the games
    but it is better for the more mature games like Solitaire. There is absolutely no reason to require a separate log on for each app and repeat log ins due to app crashes just makes this much worse. A better design would be a single login from a service running
    on the device that each app would go though and would avoid the need to logon for each app. That way recovery from an app crash would be much faster. Just logging in to reply to this post took over 2 minutes and I've already logged on to solitaire and jigsaw
    this morning which also took minutes rather then milliseconds.

  9. WarmWeevil3, I am not sure what you are referring to. You should be able to use one log in to access all your games. All progress will be attached to that one Gamertag, the way you see several games listed under my avatar that I have played on my account.

    So are there any answers yet? It is not a connection problem. Sitting next to wifi router and result is the same. All kinds of other downloads (music, movies, etc) from lots of different sources (servers) all work just fine without difficulty. Other Xbox/Windows
    games work perfectly.

    Clicking on a Jigsaw collection that shows the download box starts a download, the status line then progresses as expected and fills up. But it still says 'downloading' even after that status is complete (I know because the router software shows the download
    has ceased. It just never goes to the next step which I presume is creating the folder for the puzzle collection and doing whatever it does to turn the download into discrete puzzles. It will say 'downloading' and show a full status bar for however long
    I leave that screen up there. If I leave that screen and come back there is a sad mask puzzle piece on the collection. If I close the program, restart Windows and about a zillion other things I've tried, it just appears as if the collection is available
    for download all over again just as before.

    They *are* downloading. Task manager shows Microsoft Jigsaw has download over 1,600 MB of data in the last month while I have been repeatedly trying to download the Winter Wonderland and Food collections. The bars were deducted for WW but it just won't
    'stick' after the download.

    Any progress on fixing this yet? Or any new ideas what to try? The standard 'connection', MS updated, etc etc just do not solve this issue. Syncing license, reinstalling etc etc also do nothing.

    The only thing I haven't tried... I have not deleted the LocalState folder. Before I do that I would like your assurance that this would not lose my progress in each collection, would not lose the puzzles in the collections that I do have, and would not
    lose my gold bars. And since other people have reported that didn't fix anything I'm not sure the risk is worth it. I don't want to go back to square one. Again.

    Just tried Winter Wonderland again. In the LocalState folder, a file is created called

    WinterWonderlandPack.jigsawpack.temp and after the download status bar line is completely white (filled), that file is still there and it is 32.7 MB in size.

    Nothing else happens. From looking at other collections, it should create a folder in the DownloadedPuzzles folder within that same LocalState folder and then unpack the puzzles. But it isn't doing that.

    @ houndsofshadow - my downloads don't even get that far, a .temp file is created in the LocalState folder with 0 mb size. Sure wish this could be fixed...I love the game and miss working these puzzles!

  15. Are you still missing Collections? We released a patch a while ago that resolved the issue for some users, but we are still investigating the issue for users who are still missing Collections. Please send us a private message on Facebook if you are still
    experiencing issues, so that we can gather more details.
