HDTV Sound (Not using TV Speakers)

Hi! I would like to Move my Xbox One from my room and into the living room. In my living room, there is an HD TV and my HD receiver. Now, I want to play sound from my my Bose Entertainment Center. It has 2 speakers and a sub-woofer. My only problem is that
it only uses COMPONENT cables, and the Xbox uses HDMI. I also want to put my reciever into my Xbox One. Right now, it is set up to play the receiver'a sound. Is it possible to play it from my box, while playing Xbox One games? Or do I have to play sound exclusively
from my HDTV? If I don't want to use my HDTV's speakers, do I have to purchase a new entertainment system? Any info will help! If you have been in the same situation before, and have a solution, please do not hesitate to reply!

I'm happy to use an HDTV. I too have to admit the 2x 10W speakers on HDTV's DO produce a rather TINNY sound but my Turtle Beach X42's compensate for that and the sound is, well, OK. OMG you should of heard my HDTV BEFORE they released the Xbox 1 update which
brought out Dolby Support. Uncompressed Stereo setting on your Xbox 1 console sounds, how can I put it... kind of unbearable on an HDTV's 2x 10W speakers. My parents who used a standard definition TV 4:3 even say the 10W speakers on a 29' TV are better than
the ones you get on a LED HDTV cuz manufacturers have a significantly limited amount of space to cram speakers to look not so out-of-place on thin HDTVs. You CAN get thin LED HDTV's instead of just a monitor and having to hook up additional sound equipment.
It's down to personal preference. Advantages with TV's are you can get national TV, many are smart TV's, and it has built in speakers. Advantages with Monitors they can be cheaper but you'll need additional audio equipment but are good for peps who live/game
in smaller houses/bedrooms like in the UK.

Sound Issues

This sounds incredibly odd. Are you using any kind of external speakers, or your TV's speakers? If external, how do you have the speakers connected to the receiver or TV?

Am i wright you have a Reciever with only chinch plugs? You want to send your XBOX Audio to your Reciever?

For that you could try buy a SPDIF to ANALOG Converter than you should be able to Output your Sound via Reciever.^

But you^ll not be able to send Sound from your Reciever thru the XBOX.

I have been having some problems with HDMI sound myself. My suggestion is that you use the Left audio and Right audio cords and plug them into speakers outside of your TV. Maybe go buy some cheap speakers that accept those two inputs and plug it in, if this
does not work, try using the A/V cords instead of the HDMI. Be sure the switch the TV swith from TV to HDTV. If you would still like to use HDMI, maybe there is a problem with the male or female ports of the TV, Xbox, Blu-Ray player, or the HDMI cord itself.

It would be great if there was an HDMI setting for Dolby Digital if you use only your HDTV's 2X 10W speakers. Xbox 360 says I have a Dolby Digital 1080p connection when I connect my 360 to my HDTV using HDMI. I don't use a home theatre system. And it really
does sound like Dolby coming through the 2x 10w speakers on my HDTV because I have a Hauppauge HD PVR2 (the latest one) for uploading 360 recordings to Youtube and use the HDMI bypass this is for my 360. Whenever I use the Hauppauge on my 360, My HDTV says
I only have a Stereo 1080p HDMI connection to my console. With this comparison, I can **hear** the difference between a Stereo and Dolby connection even from my HDTV's 2x 10W speakers (it's a Sony 40' LED Full HDTV). It would be great if, like 360, the Xbox
1 console supports Dolby Digital as an HDMI connection to your HDTV without the need for a home theatre system. I do have a Turtle beach Dolby surround 7.1 sound headset though which connects via optical port.
