    Hdr10 Grayed out after turning it off to test game


    Xbox Series X on alpha skipahead using latest update 32821. I was using hdr10 as I normally would.. then decided to turn it off like I have done tons of times before to play fo76 . When I try now to turn it back on its grayed out and won't let me turn it back on..checking 4k details tells me it's turned off and to go to settings to turn it on. I tried switching hdmi ports on my monitor and things stayed the same. Did hard resets on both monitor and xbox. Tested monitor with my Xbox one x and hdr10 is working . Swapped cables on series x and nothing.

    Just turn off HDR10 on the xbox settings and restart it.

    Hi Nemesis1011, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Kindly uncheck auto HDR10 then try if there will be an improvement.

    Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options. Under the Advanced column, choose Video modes and uncheck the option to Allow HDR10.

    After making the changes perform powercycle before re-launching the game. .

    I had the same issue with my clips for Battlefront 2. What fixed it for me was turning off Allow HDR10 and Auto HDR. After turning them both off I haven’t had a clip stutter again.

    Really because when recording something ahead of time then turning off the box, the box will then turn on when the recording starts then shut off after the recording is over. I'll test it out later and see what happens.

    Unfortunately this did not work for me... I even tried EVERYTHING being turn on or off the recurring billing, turn off 2FA, hard reset Xbox, cleared cache, did the USB trick to download it there, even your guide which did pop up my grayed out account but once I did the re-download again it removed it after and now won't even work in the slightest. My account is gone R.I.P
