HDR while streaming

Discus and support HDR while streaming in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hi. It is possible to stream to PC with hdr?     Hi. It is possible to stream to PC with hdr? I have problem with this while i streaming to my pc, hdr in game on my tv turn off. It's needed for me because i stream with obs to twitch on pc, and the same time i want hdr view on my tv.

    4k streaming video on xbox one x?

    my 4k video streaming seems okay, its actually some games that dont' handle HDR for me well. like Tombraider. FFXV looks great. Also for me most games HDR screenshots look either overexposed (FFXV) or under exposed.

    No 4K without HDR (xbox one x)

    you need hdr for 4k output

    I don't think you fully understand

    Uhd and hdr are required for 4k output

    Unless you have an xbox one s not a x

    You can't play in 4k

    4k is only for.movies or streaming sources which require both uhd and hdr

    But.xbox.one x will do 4k gaming

    Try any other streaming app like youtube, disney plus etc to see if those have any problems. Does your TV support HDR? If so, try turning off HDR and see does it make any difference.

    Also try turning off game mode in TV while streaming Netflix.

    I use a capture card because of this and another problem I encountered is that if you capture 4k HDR videos on external when you upload them to Youtube only the 4k aspect of it uploads but not the HDR and the video ends up looking weird

    Yeah, it's apparently difficult to capture HDR for YouTube. I also get a warning when streaming my gameplay to YouTube that HDR will not be streamed and so it may look different. And that goes for both major consoles even, so it's not limited to just the
    Xbox infrastructure.



    I'm not a technical person (to that level), so I'm not sure of the underlying issue that causes that; whether it's something on YouTube's end, or something specific to HDR as a technical component of media.

    Netflix not streaming HDR?

    That doesn't really explain much, though, because when streamed on my TV itself, it comes up with HDR.
