    HDR unlocked at lower resolutions

I know i'm not the first but it would be great to have hdr unlocked at 1080p/1440p for Series S (and X). I hate that I have to choose hdr or 120hz because I'm using a high speed hdmi cable and a 2.0 hdmi input. I'm pretty sure that setup is capable of that. I have a 4K TV and I know I wouldn't get 4k visuals on the series s but should get 1440p 120hz and hdr.

When will Xbox support HDR on 1080p?

HDR can run on any resolution, it's just a matter of Xbox being the only device that does not support it on lower resolutions other than 4k, which is quite stupid if you ask me.

Why does metro Exodus keep turning my Xbox off.

You mean you have already done reinstalling the game? It is also weird that it only happens to that specific game though. Can you go to your video resolution and disable hdr then just lower down the resolution to see if that will help?

    Xbox One X Enhanced

If by "standards" you mean special rules that require a game to have at least 4k and HDR, then no.

Game publishers decide for themselves what "Xbox One X Enhanced" features they implement.

They could have the game running with more graphical fidelity like HDR and more detailed 3D models while using a lower resolution, or reduce graphic effects to get a full 4K rendering, or reduce resolution to get solid 60FPS and so on.

If a game is "Xbox One X Enhanced", it means it has game enhancements that are not available on the Xbox One S due to lack of processing power, which can be a combination of higher resolution, HDR, smoother framerate, etc.

    Black Screen of Death

Had a similar issue. Tried changing the Xbox video settings to the lowest possible (lower resolution, lowest refresh rate, turning off hdr in advanced video settings) and now it works without resetting or redownloading anything.

Hope this helps others who stumble here from Google.
