    HDR on/off per title setting


    Its well known not all games using HDR look their best while doing so and sometimes depending on tv/ monitor some look better on SDR so an option per title to toggle using or not HDR (instead of having to fully disable it and re enable it later on) would be great to have .

    My games won't show 4k or hdr when the Xbox says its enabled

    On your TV, you have to check a couple of things

    the 4K is usually only on the HDMI 2.0 ports, so make sure that you have your HDMI plugged in there.

    Secondly, check that your TV's HDMI settings is set to Enhanced mode and not compatibility mode.

    once that is all done, you should see the 4K and HDR being applied as needed in the games. The homepage of the console will be in 4k once you set the resolution, but HDR is per title enabled

    I found out the issue! To fix this, all you have to do is go to Manage game and add-ons. Then press compatibility settings and then turn off Auto HDR. This then fixed the issue with the level title cards.

    Screen dims slightly after 5 minutes.

    If the TV has HDR, try turning off the HDR settings or turning them on. Perhaps the color space is accurately set up on the Xbox for the TV to display it properly.

    HDR on my tv does make everything look brighter but people say to turn it off and only adjust it per game in the games option menu. I might take a look at it again.
