HDR not working

Hello Vyper221, try to follow the procedures below.

The first is a clear cache

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

HDR is slected "ON" in the xbox settings. However on the monitor it shows it as being OFF. The game looks like it has no HDR either, as in the games compatiblity options it shows it has not ON.

It is an HDMI 2.1 monitor capable of HDR.

I have tried turning off the resolution "1440p" and selecting 1080p and 60hz only. I still not recieve HDR.

What is the exact model number of your monitor?

Tried these steps and has not helped resolve the issue.

Xbox only support hdr on 4k so we that have a xbox series s and 1080p 1440p hdr 120hz screen cannot get hdr because its not 4k. On ps4 it works tho 1080p hdr.

Unless I'm reading it wrong - which I hope I'm not - the OP is stating that Fortnite and Apex aren't showing HDR, but the others are. Fortnite
doesn't support HDR, it's an SDR only game. I'm pretty sure this applies to Apex as well.

If you run HDR on a none HDR enabled game, it won't look right. All the colours and saturation will be far too high. If HDR is set to auto and is working for other games that have HDR, then that's how it's supposed to work.
