    HDR no longer works on Prime Video (Series X)


    Not sure when this happened, it may have been with the recent April update. HDR no longer works on Prime video for me. While playing content that should be HDR, it just displays as normal. Other content sources seem to be working fine. I am personally in beta ring but it may not be limited to that.

    Here is a post from the Series X sub with further info. I have a different television than the person posting so it does not appear to be a TV issue:

    White Flickers while watching movies/streaming? 4k UHD 60hz monitor no HDR

    I had the same / similar issue with my old 4K 60hz none HDR / HDMI 2.0 monitor when watching movies and some times in games with the Series X,

    As soon as i upgraded my monitor to a 4K 144hz monitor that has HDR / HDMI 2.1 ports, i no longer had this problem,

    I'm not sure what the problem is, but my guess is that the HDMI 2.1 port on Series X doesn't play well with HDMI 2.0 port of monitors, or it's the Series X trying to force HDR on, even if the monitor does not have / support HDR and the HDR in Series X menu's is turned off.

    Why is my Series X having audio issues?

    Audio issues here but only when streaming movies and shows on Prime Video and Disney Plus so far. The Series X sucks. The One X is/was better.

    Xbox One and Amazon Prime Video.

    I checked the list and have done all they have listed. I have reset the router, factory reset the box, uninstalled and reinstalled the Amazon Prime video.

    I have spent 5 hours with amazon support and 2 hours with Xbox support. I have an Xbox One and Xbox One X that have the same problem with Amazon Prime Video.

    I can go into Prime Video, select a video, the video will play, I hear the audio but have a black screen.

    I have tried the Xbox on two T.V.s. I tried the Amazon Prime Video on the Xbox 360 and it works.

    Amazon Prime Video is worked up until 10 days ago. And is the only video app not working correctly.

    Netflix Not Outputting Dolby Atmos On Xbox One

    I have the same problem 2 weeks now in my series X. Dolby Atmos indicator is not displayed on Denon (AVR-X1700H) AVR while watching Netflix. AVR shows PCM input for a reason. In games and Disney plus, Prime video apps is working fine.

    Amazon and other app and game companies are responsible for their own products. You need to report this issue to Amazon so their team can fix it
