HDR Issues - Xbox One S

Hi,

Im just posting regarding HDR issues on the Xbox one S which seems to be a fault experienced by many users (reading through other forums etc.). When HDR is active on supported games the picture quality actually looks worse due to poor colours and colour
contrast and as the picture is dulled/darkened. Adjusting the xbox settings and tv settings does not resolve this.

Reading in other forums it appears that this is a known fault with the xbox one S (Xbox Customer Support also advised me this) and that there was actually an update in the preview program to address these issues.

I am in the preview program however have not received any update. Xbox Customer support advised to gain access to the update I would need to report a problem on the xbox itself, speak to an Xbox Ambassador or post in this forum. I've reported a problem on
the xbox and haven't received any feedback or had this addressed. I have also chatted with an xbox ambassador however they are community members who have no ability to provide an update or assist in this matter - unsure why Xbox Customer Support (two different
support people) suggested that the ambassadors could help.

Hopefully this forum can assist in resolving the HDR issues, or assist in pushing out the firmware update which apparently has a fix for known HDR issues that im encountering.
