    When watching any 4K bluray on the console the picture quality is washed out, and the highlights are completely flat. If I stream something in HDR on an app like disney plus it looks as HDR is supposed to. Vibrant with bright highlights. Same with games, all games with HDR are working properly, no color issues. This is exclusively with 4k blu-rays. I have tested this with multiple blu-rays, on two different consoles on two different tvs. Same issue across the board.

    I have submitted a bug report, and I am on alpha ring. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Netflix: No UHD on XBOX One S

    I can verify this issue...Netflix UHD does not work on Xbox One S. I have a Vizio M55-D0 with the latest firmware enabling HD10 support. My TV is now recognized by the One S video settings as 4K HDR capable. I am able to enable HDR support and it works beautifully
    with the Blu-Ray app (Mad Max 4K Blu Ray playing 4K, 24fps, HDR as verified by the Vizio settings app). However when I start Netflix, the screen flashes, colors mute, and video fails to switch to HDR or 24fps. Netflix app is clearly broken right now for HDR.
    If I switch HDR off on the One S, Netflix app is fine, plays 4K correctly, colors are fine obviously no HDR.

    The Xbox One S 4K Blu-Ray Player Is A Disaster...Good Job!!

    There are a number of AV issues with the Xbox One S/X and UHD Blu-ray playback, your guess is as good as mine if they will be fixed.

    Certain UHD titles are broken and will not play.

    Dolby Atmos is unreliable.

    4K AV receiver HDMI handshaking issues.

    Image quality issues, the wrong color matrix being used in Blu-ray playback (see review comparison

    in link    ).

    They could have broken something on the One S in their rush to fix the broken Blu-ray HDR on the One X with the 10.0.16299.4037 that includes said HDR fix.

    Xbox One S won't play 3D Blu Ray

    Looking up the Samsung UE JU7500 online, it appears that it doesn't have HDR support at all. A software update does not add HDR to it; HDR is primarily a hardware-feature.

    As far as what I can tell, it seems that the Blu-Ray Player app crashed when you tried to play your movie. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Blu-Ray Player app? Give that a try and then attempt to play your movie again.

    It's only the Blu-Ray app that doesn't download. Everything else is fine it's the app itself that is broken. Now it doesn't even try to download and slows down my whole internet.
