hdr 120hz 1080 on my series s with the lenovo y25-25?

how would i accomplish this? to get 120 hz i need to enable hdmi override, but that removes hdr and vrr options despite my monitor being fully capable of both

this is incorrect, without hdmi override, vrr and hdr10 are both supported, and can also be seen in the monitor osd settings

i am fully aware of the monitors specs and i know it is in fact capable of all 1080p, HDR, and up to 240hz. so i want to know why i cant have all at the same time. i know that this is an xbox issue as this works fine with my laptop

i dont have a 2.1, but i do have a 2.0, is this sufficient?

As per the manufacture website the monitor is capable of a 240 Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, however you will require a HDMI 2.1 cable to achieve these settings on the Xbox.
