Every Xbox 360 uses a HDMI v1.2 Interface & HDMI v1.2 has Handshake Issues with certain HDMI equipment, If the HDMI Input IC, can't switch sources, without keeping a dedicated connection or handshake (Caching) between the other source (Xbox 360) & overwrites
the Cache/RAM to create a new handshake with the next AV Source..

When you switch back to the Xbox 360 Source, it needs to refresh the Handshake again & the only way to do that, is for the Xbox 360 Console to reset etc..

Point Being... It's the TV, that can't switch HDMI sources, without losing the last selected sources HDMI Handshake.. (Xbox 360)

yes plug the 360 hdmi out lead into the xbox one hdmi in port

Then you use HDMI cable.(Not all original xbox 360 consoles have a HDMI port)So better check for a HDMI port at the back of the xbox.

Hi there the xbox one cannot play 360 discs but you can plug a hdmi cable from your 360 to your xbox one's hdmi in port that way you can play your 360 games on your xbox one.

guess would be either the HDMI cable is bad (happens) or the HDMI port on the 360 is faulty.



Have anything else to test the HDMI cable with? Have another HDMI cable to try? Have another input on the display device to try?
