HDMI tripping off with XBOX ONE S

Does anyone else have the problem of their HDMI tripping off intermittently during game play on an XBOX ONE S ? sound will go then HDMI disconnects ( loss of picture = blank screen ) and then auto connects, this process takes approximately 5-7 seconds and can
happen once in a gaming session or multiple times, 3x in one team deathmatch on several occasions, just want to see how many others have this issue, likely cause is in production of console.

HDMI Tripping off between console &T.V

Does or has anyone have the problem of HDMI tripping off for a few seconds during game play, sound goes then second or two later HDMI connection lost, then auto connected again, sent console for inspection / repair and issue still happens, doesn't with my
360 connected to same T.V and to cap it all, can't get an agent prompt anymore when I try to contact Microsoft (wonder why that is) bet you I will when warranty runs out

Trouble with an Octava HDMI Switch & Xbox One S

Hi!

I have an Xbox One S.

I also have an Octava HD41-ARC HDMI/SPIDF switch.

The switch is supposed to automatically switch to whatever input goes active.

Per Octava, I unhooked the One S & forced it port 1.

With the One S off I re-hooked it to the switch, it switched right away.

It looks like the HDMI on the One S is active all of the time.

It is preventing the switch from doing it's job.

BTW, this did not happen with my Old Xbox 360.

Is there a way to shut the HDMI off when it is off?

The other 2 items on this switch release the HDMI when they are powered off.

The Xbox One X is the only console that has HDMI 2.1. Xbox One S has HDMI 2.0.

The Xbox One S and One X both use HDMI 2.0,

The Xbox One uses HDMI 1.4

The Series X will have HDMI 2.1.

Hi buddy..

This happen to my XBox 360 S too.

Check the TV HDMI ports. One of the port maybe no good.

Maybe try another TV in another room just to see if its the HDMI ports.

Make sure the HDMI port are on in the TV menu (sometimes its set off)

Thank you for your post. I understand you are looking to connect an HDMI 2.1 cable to an Xbox One S. Though the Xbox One S has a HDMI 1.4 connector, HDMI 2.1 is backwards compatible, meaning it will display output from your Xbox One S without issue.
