HDMI to AV for Xbox 360

Discus and support HDMI to AV for Xbox 360 in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; For Xbox 360 HDMI to AV cords, does it have to be a cord specifically for/from Xbox?     For Xbox 360 HDMI to AV cords, does it have to be a cord specifically for/from Xbox? I'm not getting picture with HDMI to AV cord from Amazon.

    Yes, the standard Xbox 360 AV cable and any HDMI cables will work with the Xbox 360 S.

    You said the Av out was not on Xbox 360 E when it was. AV out is component (Yellow White and Red) Which it does support.

    The Xbox 360 E AV out port does not support HD component (Blue Green Red and White Red) out Only

    Only standard AV out and HDMI will output video on the Xbox 360 E

    If you're using an old 360 and this cable is your only option (no HDMI port on the back of the 360) Xbox 360 Composite AV Cable -
    http://tinyurl.com/kteopa6 - then you will need a convertor to go from AV to HDMI.

    There are tons of convertors out there but this one is pretty compact and reasonably priced (amazon link) -

    HDMI AV Cable reboot xbox

    I tried this with my HP 2159m monitor and a Spilnter Cell Conviction 360. No issues. The thin AV adapter is plugged into the AV port and a regular HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI port on the monitor. I can flip to VGA and back to HDMI without causing
    any issues for the 360.
