Hdmi switch for Xbox one

I have a 55in Sony and a 27in Benq that I want to hook up my Xbox one to. I will only be using one screen at a time, but I was wondering if an Hdmi switch would cause input lag? Also, does it affect the quality of the signal/video? so basically I need

Do you guys think that will do the trick? The only think is with the one is that it sends the signal to both screens at the same time I guess which isn't horrible but I will only be using one screen at a time so I don't need it to send the signal to both
screens at the same time.

HDMI Auto Switch Problem... any advice appreciated

I had the same problem with my switch box at launch. what I wound up doing is: Since my Reciever has 4 hdmi ports, I put the xbox one directly into one of the receiver hdmi's. I hooked my hdmi switch box up to hdmi 4 on the receiver and hooked up my ps4,
ps3, and wii u to the auto switch. 8 hdmi ports is enough for me (barely).

Xbox One X HDMI issue

My Xbox One X is giving me issues when plugged into an HDMI switch. My HDMI switch has a PS4 Pro and a Nintendo Switch plugged into it.

When only those two devices are plugged in it works fine, no problems. When the Xbox One X is plugged into switch it begins acting up.

The Xbox one X continues to send a signal and keep the switch on it's input even when the system is off. This is the case for the system in instant on (expected) as well as energy saver (unexpected).

Once the Xbox one x has been turned on and the switch changes to it's input I am unable to switch from it's input, the only fix is to unplug the Xbox one X. I have tried replacing the Xbox One X HDMI with a different brand (bluejeans) and the issue still
occurs.

Or what would be my best option to go from my Xbox one to two monitors. I'll only be using one monitor at a time. I'll be using my big screen for movies and split screening and my small monitor for serious gaming. Should I just get a reciever or look
for a y cable or Hdmi switch/splitter? I also want to keep quality in mind because I do not want to sacrifice quality.

Best choice is to swing all inputs over to a dedicated HDMI switch, then take the HDMI output from the switch and feed it through the Xbox One and then on to one of the receiver inputs. That allows the Xbox One to mix all the audio from whatever second source
you want to overlay the Xbox One on top of. This won't help with non-HDMI sources that you want to funnel through the Xbox One, though.

Likely yes you can, you can get a 1 in 2 out HDMI box on Amazon. They're not terribly expensive. Keep in mind there might be other issues with doing this. I can't guarantee it'll work. IF it doesn't try one that's powered
