    HDMI Signal Cutting Out - Xbox Series X


    The HDMI signal from my Series X keeps cutting out, leaving a blank screen on my TV.

    I’ve tried switching HDMI ports and changing around various settings on both my Xbox and TV but nothing seems to work. The only way to stop the blank screen is to turn my Xbox on and off, but even then it’s only a matter of time before it happens again.

    I’ve had this happen on Cyberpunk (although turning on YCC 4:2:2 seemed to fix the problem), COD Cold War and Forza Horizon 4.

    My suspicion is that my TV, which is an old 2015 Sony KDL-32W705C (1080p, 60Hz) is the problem. I’m getting a new TV soon but i’d like to be able to play until then.

    Update: It's gotten worse now. Xbox isn't connecting at all anymore. I now think the solder has actually cracked. I'm guessing Microsoft used lead free solder which is more brittle than leaded solder.

    Such a shame. Going to be requesting a replacement now :(

    i have this problem myself it would blink black then an all out static screen wth occassional blinking i would need to turn off the console but later on it would happen again

    After New Experience update, Xbox will not turn off my projector.

    I have this exact same issue, but with an Epson projector. The problem can be resolved if you disable the instant on function. I believe the issue is the fact that the xbox sends the first power signal, then cuts the hdmi signal, then sends the second power
    signal. When the hdmi signal is cut, it cancels out the first power signal, making me press power on the projector remote once to get it all the way off.

    for some reason my Xbox doesn’t make a sound when I turn it on, and my hdmi output isn’t working, I tried every different hdmi cord and it still didn’t work. Is there any way I can fix this?

    im using an Xbox series x and and its displaying no signal,
