Hdmi red,green, blue cord will not put out any noise

Hey guys just recently my hdmi cord decided to not put out any noise you can see the screen and everything but no noise comes out. I have it directly connected to my tv but when I try the regular cable cords sound is fine anybody have this isssue before?

I tried using the preferences you told me and the buzzing noise continues to go on, and I'm not using HDMI I'm using the Blue Green Red and White Cords.

Xbox 360 and HDMI

I don't think you can get the high definition effect without the HDMI cord connecting the TV to the Xbox. Without the cable, you would still get the regular audio and video signal. If you use the red/green/blue connectors, you can get better video but not audio.

Hi, try going to settings/ console settings/ display on the xbox, disable display discovery. Do you then get audio ?

try using another hdmi cable if available or you can try swapping hdmi ports. if you need a new hdmi cable dont worry amazon sells 6.5ft cheap that meets the highest standards for quality which is 1.4

i tip for anyone who sees this and needs a new cable its always good to do research on your cables before you buy $60 dollar ones because it doesnt mean your getting the best.

lol yeah i have the right cords plugged in the hdtv one is all black with a red ring and the av cord is all red,

heres everything plugged in the exact way red hdtv in red hdtv blue in blue green in green then below it is the red port then white port and i have both red and white av cords in their 2 ports

You need to have the HDMI or the Green Red and Blue dingies.
