HDMI port stopped working on the X

Hi my HDMI port on my Xbox one X has stopped working it worked fine for 4 months and now it just displays no input signal with a black screen iv'e been in touch with Xbox and they have suggested that I send it in for repair but iv'e also read on this forum
that there's many people coming down with this problem and when there getting there consoles back from repair the issue is just reoccurring and there seems to be no fix for this some people are on there 3rd console with this issue and are getting really annoyed
its not as if there cheap to buy or fix please tell me this can be resolved if I'm not willing to keep spending money in the future to replace these consoles if there not going to last long my Xbox one S is like 4 years old and it still works fine not had
one repair please support can you help us out on this

Console no hdmi output

I purchased a new x box one on 06/12/2018 . Today it has stopped working (no output from hdmi port to television ) . What can I do . Is it still under warranty as I've been told

Xbox wont show a picture

Could it be a bad hdmi port on the Xbox? When I changed the settings it just stopped working, it had worked fine until that point

If you've exhausted all of the steps outlined in this
support article about troubleshooting a blank screen, then you'll have to send your Xbox in for repair. If your console still doesn't work after Microsoft's repair, then immediately contact Xbox Support (choose phone or chat), explain your situation, and
they should help you out.

To start the repair process, go here: https://devicesupport.microsoft.com

For a faster repair solution (and to avoid worrying about getting back a still-broken Xbox), you can do the "Advanced Exchange" program to get your defective Xbox exchanged for a refurbished, working Xbox. This will place a hold on your credit card (for
as much as the One X costs, afaik) which will be released once Microsoft receives your defective console.

Faulty HDMI ports are not as rare as you might think. I work in IT and see a lot of the ports becoming faulty on PC's and laptops. It might also be worth checking out your TV/monitor for faulty ports.

My Xbox One X HDMI port works fine but it has caused a fault on two of my TV ports. They no longer push out 4K but work for 1080p.

The Xbox Series X will come with a HDMI 2.1 cable,

But whether you use a HDMI 2.1 cable or not, the HDMI port on the TV needs to be HDMI 2.1 to achieve the 120hz refresh rates at 4K.

using a HDMI 2.1 cable on a TV port with HDMI 2.0 will still only limit the Xbox Series X to 60hz refresh rates.

no it wont. it says "this didnt work" and shows the list of stuff with Dolby having the red x.

my 4k tv has an arc hdmi and other hdmi port. that doesnt matter does it?

as my ps4 pro is in the arc port.
