HDMI Port Is Loose

HDMI port is very sensitive. Microsoft wants to charge $15 for the pleasure of using their advanced replacement shafting...plus drop $400 on a credit card.

That doesn't sound ideal. Is it possible to test a different HDMI cable to see if there's any change with your connection? Let us know.

Loose hdmi port

hello, the hdmi port of my xbox one is very loose, it means that i can wiggle the hdmi cable a lot. But everything seems to work perfectly. Is this something to worry about??

yes, that is called the advance exchange. If you don't want to do that, there is another option. You basically send your console in for a repair, they fix it up and send it back to you. They even send you a shipping label to your email address, so you don't
have to pay for the shipping. All you have to do is get a box.

These are the two options. I see no need to get angry when they offer two different methods for a repair. One is free, and the other gets you a console fast and cost 15 dollars.

Lots of tiny pins that has to line up perfectly with the corresponding pins inside the HDMI port. If the HDMI port is loose fitting, then the pins of the HDMI cable can't maintain a quality connection.

Hi there,

the HDMI in is meant for video to go in that can be passed via the console to the TV/Monitor via the HDMI Out port, the HDMI in port can not functions as a HDMI Out.

It sounds like that you may have to send the console in for repair to get the HDMI out port fixed
