HDMI port is blocked

Discus and support HDMI port is blocked in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; The actual HDMI port is blocked by the plug on our Xbox 360 console.     HDMI port is blocked


    The actual HDMI port is blocked by the plug on our Xbox 360 console. My son says he cannot use the multiplayer mode because the hdmi is not connected. Not sure why Xbox created a plug that blocked a port, but is there some sort of connector or extender to
    enable the hdmi port?

    yes, that is called the advance exchange. If you don't want to do that, there is another option. You basically send your console in for a repair, they fix it up and send it back to you. They even send you a shipping label to your email address, so you don't
    have to pay for the shipping. All you have to do is get a box.

    These are the two options. I see no need to get angry when they offer two different methods for a repair. One is free, and the other gets you a console fast and cost 15 dollars.

    HDMI port is very sensitive. Microsoft wants to charge $15 for the pleasure of using their advanced replacement shafting...plus drop $400 on a credit card.

    There's a tab on the adapter that will block the HDMI port. What I did was just cut off the tab, and both HDMI cable and adapter will fit.

    also be careful if u decide to use a third party dongle as some of them are too big and block the hdmi port.

    You cannot plug in both the old av cable and an hdmi cord - the 360 will only use one. The old av cord will block the hdmi from even being plugged in.

    But, when you buy your Microsoft HDMI cable, it will come with an adapter that allows you to plug a separate sound device into your 360. Only
    official Microsoft cables come with this.

    Depending on the price of the monitor, a television with a VGA port might be cheaper than a monitor with an HDMI port. Shop around.

    Is streaming your xbox series x/s possible in a laptop?

    Is the HDMI port on your laptop an HDMI in port or just an HDMI out port? Most laptops only have an HDMI out port if anything. You cannot get video in if you only have an HDMI out port.
