    HDMI Passthrough with Sky HD - Problem returned


    Since having my XboxOne returned for service I have noticed an issue whith the HDMI passthrough...

    After roughly every 20 seconds, the TV skips a few frames which gives the illusion of the picture moving forward. I have played around with my settings and it only happens when my SkyHD is set to '1080i'. It does not happen when

    it is set to 720p.

    It isnt an issue with the cables or set-top box as these have not changed. The only thing that has changed is my Xbox One. I recieved the new console after the update, so i cannot confirm if this issue is the result of the update or a hardware problem with
    my new console. Does anyone have any ideas?

    HDMI passthrough lag with Sky HD

    No lag here. I was at one time getting micro stutter, but I rebooted my amp. I suspect any lag between Xbox and TV will be your Amp if you have one.

    My Amp , Onkyo 674 doesn't handle 1080p that well either (I get sparklies)

    I will replacing it with a Yamaha RXV475 probably.

    I'm currently experiencing a slight delay on sky hd. Is there any work around for this?

    I'm getting no lag, but I'm getting the annoying stutter on Sky sports and movies which is apparently down to the handling of 50Mhz broadcasts (whereas the console is tailored for handling 60Mhz US tv broadcasts).

    Not something I'm an expert on, but there's a great thread on AVForums about it. Think Ill be avoiding pass through until it's sorted. Shame as it's an awesome feature.

    I am getting lag on hdmi pass through as well, the picture and sound freeze for half a second every few seconds and then resumes from somewhere else.

    Has it been confirmed that EPG's from Sky and Virgin will not work on the passthrough HDMI port?
