    HDMI Passthrough not working after Update


    My HDMI pass-through no longer works after the November update went through. I have a chrome cast connected to it and have a ota adapter plugged into the USB slot. everything worked fine before the update, but now I see the HDMI in and he channel list.
    but when I select it it his away and cannot select any longer. Please help!

    Xbox One HDMI Input/passthrough stopped working?

    Has anyone heard of any issues with HDMI passthrough ceasing working after operating fine?

    My TV has been working great for 2 days and now HDMI passthrough fails... No signal detected at all. I can take cable from XB1 HDMI In and plug back into my A/V Receiver and it works fine. I have hard-booted XB1, no help. Any ideas out there?

    Yes, you need to have the Xbox on and in the TV app.

    The passthrough only supports 1080p signals through HDMI.

    As far as I know, there has been no talks about any software updates to allow 4K passthrough.

    It's best to connect your 4K box directly to your TV or your 4K receiver.
