    HDMI Passthrough Issue [Update or Hardware?)


    So for a few weeks my Dish Joey was not showing signal when opening the One Guide. Shows, "your TV Signal was lost".

    I called dish and got a new Joey sent out. Same issue. Set up the Joey using same HDMI cable straight to the TV. Works fine. Plugged it back into console, powered up and still showing signal as lost. Have not tried another device but it's the same cable I've used since the OG XBO and now I'm on a XBO X. Any ideas of it's an update issue or hardware related?

    Maybe they are just conditioning is for when the XSX doesn't have Passthrough anymore. Gonna be a shame. All that power and multi tasking and I want easily be able to watch TV without having to manually switch inputs. No more notification pop ups while watching TV. Gonna make it difficult to keep in touch with friends. It's nice when you get a invite or message to just jump in. Really taking away a social aspect of XBL. Sad times.

    No Sound at all on Dashboard or System

    Update your HDPVR2 drivers. Make sure that your passthrough is configured properly in Hauppage capture/Streemeez. (Frankly, don't use Happauge Capture. Use Streemeez to configure your audio and video inputs and passthroughs.) Don't blame the hardware when
    you don't have it configured properly. The HDMI signal carries both audio and video. If the handshake is made, everything is there. If it isn't, then you see nothing.

    get an hdmi splitter and run a cable to the amp and one to the xbox, although ever since the new update my tv is slow and choppy, worked great before this windows 10 crap tho

    i have this amp and NONE of these fix the issue... there is obviously a serious flaw in the xbox one hdmi control... this needs to be fixed

    Hey just incase your still having this problem I have the solution. I have the same amp and had the same issue. To fix it I simply unplugged the HDMI out from the amp and plugged it back in. Works fine until you unplug the amp from the mains then you'll
    have to do it again.

    If you connect the xbox directly to the TV (bypass the AMP box) does it still have problems displaying? Or is it instant?

    I run through a capture card and have a delayed input, so im thinking the xbox doesn't play nice when you run it through something before the TV
