    contact microsoft xb1 help desk they are quite helpfull... irrc the new hdmi pass thru was part of the update..

    With my AV Receiver the HDMI pass-thru works with the receiver in standby.

    XBOX 1 is better than I expected

    The tv app kinda sucks though that it's not a pass thru hdmi .Maybe they will patch this?

    It's not perfect at all. In fact it's already obsolete. The HDMI in port is only HDMI v1.4. It will never be capable of 4k pass thru. That, in my book, makes it worthless.

    4K Passthrough?

    No, it will not and it won't even be upgradable. The HDMI in port is only HDMI v1.4. That's a physical limitation and no update could make 4k pass thru work, ever. The box is already obsolete as far as I'm concerned.
