HDMI not recognized?

I have had my Xbox one for about a month and it has run flawlessly. Today, I came home from work and it for some reason did not recognize my xbox in the HDMI port. So i attempted to use a different HDMI cord and I tried connecting to a different port on
my TV. None of these options worked, but my apple TV was recognized by both cords and both ports of my TV. If I leave my xbox on it will every once and a while randomly power up to the green screen and stay locked in that position. It will not go any further
and my controller is unresponsive. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on here?

HDMI not working

My older xbox, an elite, had the same issue. The HDMI port stopped working after 6 months--January-June. I had to deal with the lower graphics about a year before getting and hdmi component cable, which is almost as good.

Now, I got a new slim and it is experiencing the exact same issue. I have used my slim less than 10 times and it already cannot use an hdmi cable? This is pathetic. How can MS produce products that break within 6 months, now 2 weeks? It stupid and needs
to be fixed! I pay hundreds to buy by xboxes and hundreds for the equpment, as well as $40 or so for the HDMI cable that MS sells, which is no better than a $5 HDMI, infact, the $5 HDMI are a lot stronger and more durable than the ones MS sells.

I have tried other TVs, and obviously other xbox's, as well as other HDMI's. .What else can I do? I pay for good graphics and I am tired of being cheaped out by broken xbox's. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to get this fixed?

No, I am not sending it in for a repair for a few reasons.

1. It will never be the same, a small HDMI repair will leave marks all over the xbox and other damages.

2. It is a limited edition xbox, and if they cannot repair it, they will just give me some other refurbished xbox, not my special limited one back, making me lose $50-$100, whatever tthe difference is between regular and limited. It's a poor system for a
large company, and it needs to be fixed!

Again, any other suggestons on getting my HDMI fixed.

Sorry to hear about the issues. When you see the green screen displayed, It usually means that your console is running a system check on hardware components and validating the firmware and the operating system. If you are stuck on the green screen for 10 minutes
or longer, it may be due to your console processing an update. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and plug in your console.
• Power on your console and check to see if TV recognizes your console.

Unfortunately I have tried this and it did not work. What would be the next possible step? I find it extremely strange that once i turn on my xbox it does not recognize that anything is in the HDMI port until about 2-3 minutes after it is turned on.

Sorry to hear that the issue is continuing to occur. I would recommend trying a different HDMI cable, but you have already tried that. If it is possible, try to plug your console into a different TV. I also recommend trying to reset your display settings, you
can check out how to do this on our troubleshooting a blank screen page.

Try resetting your display settings and let us know how it goes.

 

I have been through all of the steps already. None of them have fixed the issue. Resetting the display did nothing. Do you have any other suggestions?

I am going threw the same problem except I don't even get the green screen it just doesn't recognize the xbox at all. It work fine up till today now the tv won't pick it up .
