    HDMI Mode Not Supported

I just bought a Roxio hd capture pro capture card, when I first used it for my xbox one everything worked perfectly. After a few days of not using it, on my tv, my tv reads "hdmi mode not supported."

What i decided to do was take all of the cables i was using upstairs to the tv in my room, and use the cables on my dvr box to my tv...and all of my cables worked perfectly fine. But when I hooked those same cables up even directly to my xbox one, even that
tv kept saying "hdmi mode not supported."

When I hooked up each cable from my xbox one directly to my tv the tv doesn't recognize the hdmi cable at all, I did a factory reset on my console(i pushed the power button for several seconds, console turned off, then i turned it back on by holding the
power and disc eject button at the same time)and even afterwards my console wouldn't display on my televison.

What is going on? What do I do?

    :)

Dude. You could troubleshoot yourself. In your reply is the solution. It's your TV, not you xbox....

    HDMI mode not supported

Ok so, i have had the same xbox in the same tv for years now, and magically one day it has decided not to work.

When i plug in a HDMI cable or even use the HDTV switch on my component cable, the dashboard screen doesn't appear. I have tried multiple HDMI cables, I have tried the (y +rt reset) i have tried navigating blindly, but nothing is working. My xbox does work
when using the component cable, but alas no HD.

    Help!?1?!?!?1?!???

your tv may not be on the right input or source so try that or try to use another hdmi cable on your tv. I had the same problem a while back and i realized my cable just failed so maybe its the same here hope i helped.

this may sound silly but do you have the right input or source chosen on your tv?

If the Xbox is working with the same HDMI cable on a different TV, then that would lead me to believe the HDMI port on the TV in question is bad. I had a bad HDMI port on my TV as well that just went out one day. If it works on another TV with the same
HDMI cable then I would say the Port on the TV has quit working.
