    HDMI issues

Alright everyone, I'm probably gonna get some crap for this, but I plugged my xbox 360 into my xbox one HDMI port, and played off there for awhile, eventually I wanted to move my xbox out to the Living room and separate the 360 and the one, but now I can't
get video on the 360 if its just plugged straight into the TV, but if I connect to the the One and tell the one to watch T.V it'll load the video.. Now I've tried doing that Screen Resolution reset thing and no go on that, I've tried Clearing Cache(have to
put that in there or I'll get everyone saying to clear the cache...) I've tried changing HDMI ports/cables, It'll work if I put the Composite cables into the Xbox, but I can't change the HD resolution like that, I've tried going in blind and changing the settings
for resolution, still no go. So my question is can anyone else think of a solution except for sending it into be repaired?

    :)

Sorry to hear about your problems. Sounds frustrating. Did you connect it straight to a tv with the supplied HDMI cable? I had some flicker issues and it was the HDMI cable. I mean it is possible you got two bad systems, but it is also possible you have a couple of crappy HDMI cables lying around your house, like I did.

just wondering, if I disable display discovery and manualy set the correct resolution settings for my tv, would I lose a slight bit of picture quality and sharpness.

    .

It shouldn't affect quality. Turning Display Discovery off simply makes the Xbox 360 ignore some (but not all) of the E-EDID data sent by the display, revealing settings not identified as supported by the display. It just gives you the option to override
those settings if the display supports them.

    .

There might be exceptions, but I don't think any of the listed resolutions change in timings or such by the Display Discovery option.

Also, I've had this issue in the past, and I got *** and just left the console for a few days and then tried booting it onto the T.V and it worked. Why I plugged it back into the One later on, I don't know..

DOes your TV have more than one HDMI Input? If so, could you try the others?

    HDMI issue.

Ok, so some updates. I have no warranty, it will be the standard $100 fee to fix it. Like I stated before my red, white, and yellow cables work so I guess I will have to put up with the poor picture quality if I want to do anything on the Xbox.... Is
there any such thing as going from the composite plug on the console, to the hdmi plug on my TV?? I guess what I am asking if there is any possible way to get a HDMI image with my HDMI port being broken?

    Thanks
