    Ok so since yesterdays outage all i get is no signal on my 40"tv i i ha tried different cables with each variation of end plugged into xbox. Definitely plugged in to tv out, tried all three hdmi ports on tv. Tried the power cycle and booting in low res
    all dont work on my 40" tv thought id try connecting my laptop through tv works perfectly. So took xbox to tiny 18" tv plugged it all in works first time. Used same hdmi cable as was using in 40". Any ideas .. even did a factory reset on xbox still no luck!!

    DOes your TV have more than one HDMI Input? If so, could you try the others?

    Ok, so some updates. I have no warranty, it will be the standard $100 fee to fix it. Like I stated before my red, white, and yellow cables work so I guess I will have to put up with the poor picture quality if I want to do anything on the Xbox.... Is
    there any such thing as going from the composite plug on the console, to the hdmi plug on my TV?? I guess what I am asking if there is any possible way to get a HDMI image with my HDMI port being broken?
