HDMI issues after update

So, we're both of the opinion that the update broke the xbox, how do I fix it?

What can be done to fix it and is there any way Microsoft are liable as it was working perfectly well before the released their update?

In addition to the cable exchange and Tv's procedures, you've tried to do some sort of reset on the console, such as resetting the console while keeping games and Apps.

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > system > console > system

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note - You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

Try to reset your console using a USB flash drive, please. Take a look at the "Reset using a USB flash drive" section:

If even after the USB flash drive reset you still have issues, please let me know.

Hi George, no I'm not part of an insider program ring.

I managed to reset whilst keeping games, I used a second xbox console to note the steps required to do this and completed it successfully blind, and whilst the picture was still there after this it did eventually disappear after a few minutes of being stable and then flickering and eventually just disappearing.

Could there have been an issue with the update that has caused this? The console was working perfectly before this update.

OK, so when is the next update due? And how can I accept the update if I can't see the screen lol
