    My xbox isnt reading the hdmi, ive used my other hdmi devices with same tv and same hdmi cable and everything works perfectly, the one have this issue?

    Hi all, i'm sure this is the right place, if not, dont hate Hdmi issue :).

    Ok so i've been using an hdmi cable with my tv(Goodmans) for months now perfectly. But a week ago i moved it into the lounge to use the bigger lcdtv(Samsung) and the hdmi worked perfectly on that too but when i went to put it back on my normal tv the screen
    stays blank like the tv isnt even registering it. But my xbox does register it(i know this because before i'd have to have my tv turned on and on the hdmi source for my xbox to start up, which it does, even with the blank screen)

    Anyone know whats up or have a remedy for this? Tried using another hdmi cable that came with my sisters ps3 and got the same results. My regular hdmi cable isnt an official xbox360 one though, if that means anything.

    HDMI issue.

    I use to get this HDCP Link Error message, and then the HDMI cable will not work at all now. Does my issue still apply to the stated thread Hyperion145?

    I had this issue at launch.. the HDMI I got with the Xbox was faulty have you tried a different cable?

    Yea I've Tried Different Cables And Still No Go, My Other Devices Work With The Xbox Hdmi, I Fear It's ThE Hdmi Port Itself, I've Only Had The One A Month

    DOes your TV have more than one HDMI Input? If so, could you try the others?

    Ok, so some updates. I have no warranty, it will be the standard $100 fee to fix it. Like I stated before my red, white, and yellow cables work so I guess I will have to put up with the poor picture quality if I want to do anything on the Xbox.... Is
    there any such thing as going from the composite plug on the console, to the hdmi plug on my TV?? I guess what I am asking if there is any possible way to get a HDMI image with my HDMI port being broken?
