    Honestly any HDMI will work but there is a difference in quality depending on what you go with. You don't need gold plated HDMI or anything but gold is good for allowing electricity to transition between different metals. I use a standard one I bought at
    bi-mart because the one in the box just wasn't long enough. It's also quicker to get the cable at a store.

    The USB ports on Xbox don't send video so an adaptor won't work. You'll either need a repair or a new console.

    Also happened to me. My HDMI cable was broken only. Just replaced it with a new one.

    Your HDMI port might be broken so repair will be the best option as you already tried a different cable.
