  1. HDMI Input not working | Xbox One S

Whenever I'm trying to use OneGuide I get constant freezes, sometimes to the point of getting nothing but frozen digital static for hours. When hard resetting my xbox the issue will be resolved for a short while.

Is this a known issue? Any troubleshooting ideas?

    :)

Help please!! What cable do I need to run my XB1 to my reciever

    Hi iTRiCKs -

One typical configuration is to run an HDMI cable:

Out from Xbox One to -> AV Receiver input

Out from AV Receiver -> TV HDMI input

Is this not an option? If not, you could use the S/PDIF output from Xbox One to your AVR.

What's plugged into the HDMI input? Your cable TV set-top? If so, I get a similar problem with "frozen digital static" because it is a problem on my cable provider's end, since it's download lag on the specific channel. I can still change the channel or
navigate the Xbox interface, though. I don't know if the entire system is freezing up for you.

In any case, I'd give a hard reset to the cable box (or whatever else you have plugged into the HDMI input) as well.

Have you also tried different HDMI cables? I remember I had a similar problem because the HDMI plug was worn from constant disconnecting/reconnecting. It wouldn't hurt to give that a try if you happen to have some extra cables laying around.

  5. It is my Uverse set-top box. In trouble shooting I plugged that same HDMI cable directly into another port on my tv and have had 0 issues with the set-top box in weeks. It's only experiencing issues with the Xbox One S. It's also the same box and HDMI cable
that I used with my Xbox One since release day and I never had any issues.

  6. Hey there GruntKiller57,

Have you tried to use another HDMI cable with the console to see if that had any effect? Is the issue happening with any channel you view using the OneGuide?

    HDMI cord

Any good quality HDMI cable should work, it does for me. Make sure the TV is set to the correct HDMI input since most have several inputs. Also, you might try connecting to s different HDMI input in case the one that was use (on the TV) was damaged.

I have my roku connected to my xbox one s but cant seem to figure out how to snap them together

Hello Liam T, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to directly connect or connect a Roku device to an Xbox One S console. The Xbox One S does not have a built-in feature or app that allows you to integrate or connect a Roku device within the console interface.

However, there are alternative ways to use your Roku device together with your Xbox One S:

HDMI Switching: Connect your Roku device directly to your TV using an HDMI cable. Next, connect your Xbox One S to another HDMI input on your TV. Most modern TVs have multiple HDMI inputs, allowing you to switch between devices using the TV's input selection menu or a remote control.

    I hope this works.

    Best regards.
