HDMI IN Problem HELP PLZZ

any one else have a problem with the xbox not seeing the cable box when you turn it on .. i have to unplug the xbox then plug it back in then it will see it ..

hy i bouth a xbox 360 from united kingdom and i come wit it to romania, i made a xbox 360 live account and i trie to install a app (netflix ) i have on top home, social, game and app and settings. at game and app i have game store but i dont have app store
to download apps. how can i install apps.....?

Hi, which output resolution has your cable box?

 

for some reason it changes depends on the channel ranges from 480i to 1080i it does it automatically

 

Can you clarify - when you say "when you turn it on", by "it" do you mean Xbox or the cable box?

My Xbox sometimes shows "lost signal" from cable box after switching on (from standby) but just takes a while after the X1 starts for it to pick up the signal (I guess that's just the latency with the processing of HDMI input). Sometimes just changing channels
on the cable box "wakes up" the X1.

Not had to hard-reboot the X1 in months to fix any issues.

 

ok let say when i get up in the morning and everything is off but my cable box it stays on 24/7 i turn the tv on then the xbox some times it will see the signal within 1min then some time it wont even if i change the channel so i have to unplug the xbox
plug it back in then it sees it right away

 

If your cable box supports this try to set a fixed output format like 720p and do not use native output. Xbox One is doing video scaling very well.

This setting helped to solve problems with my set top box
