Xbox one X HDMI to display port on monitor

I currently have a Xbox one X and a Samsung monitor that is 4K. The monitor supports freesync but only on its display port not on its HDMI port. I am having a problem finding a cable that will do HDMI from the Xbox to the display port on the monitor
that will utilize Freesync And display in 4K at 60 Hz. Does this cable exist or is this possible?

Connect your Xbox 360 Console to an HDTV or monitor using HDMI Cable

If your Xbox 360 console has an HDMI port, you can easily connect an HDTV or high-definition monitor to your console using the HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) cable.

Here is how:

First, you need to connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port.

You have to connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input on your HDTV or monitor.

After connecting the cable properly, turn on your TV and console.

If the Xbox Dashboard doesn’t appear, you might need to change the video input setting.

The console automatically uses the default display settings. But you can also change the settings on the console to improve the video display.

Note: All Original Xbox consoles do not have an HDMI port.

Great question! While it definitely depends on your monitors capabilities. Yes the console can be displayed on monitors using a converter. Keep in mind compatibility depends on the converter itself as well as the monitor itself.

Tanks. I have Dell p2214h as my monitor. With converter can you recomned. I really want to play in my xbox and a really dont want to sell it becaus of this

If you currently have a DP converter go ahead and try it. There is no list for compatible ones basically trial and error. Most should work though. You can find them at retailers everywhere

From what I could find on the internet, this monitor has two HDMI ports, one of them (HDMI 1) is an older HDMI 1.4 port, while the second one (HDMI 2) is an HDMI 2.0 port. I can only suggest you reconnect the monitor to the second port and try again.

The fact that I had to go to a third party website just to find a manual for the R1800 doesn't inspire confidence in this display. The 'KOORUI' website wouldn't even open. Even if you connect to the HDMI 2.0 port, there is no guarantee this will allow 120Hz. Like most budget monitors, this display's main features will be locked into the Display Port which is for PC use.

It's quite likely you're going to be stuck in 1440P @60Hz.

That's what I would have thought as well, but on my PC I've used a DVI->HDMI converter to connect it to my TV, and that still gives me full sound. So I wonder if it's something to do with different HDMI standards?

DVI and HDMI are based on the same standard, where DP is completely different. They do sell HDMI to DP convertors that provide audio out, it still sometimes has to be run separately from the DP cable. Not all monitor companies implement the audio portion
of DP.
