  1. hdmi failure. TV not detecting my xbox one

My console was working all good in the evening of february 8 2020. On the evening of february 9 2020 my xbox one was no where to find on any hdmi port. After 2 or 3 minutes it turn off by itself. I try using another hdmi cable, swapping both end, I also
try on another TV, nothing is working. I also try to connect a direct ethernet cable in hope it may need an update that i could have miss. everything i try same result, it turn off by himself after a couple of minutes. It have barely one years old, I haven't
told the issue to my kids but i can guess the big desapointment it will cause next weekend. From my research on many forums it seem like a common issue does anybody have a good ending with it?

sorry for my english it's my second language, best regard.

    :)

problem fix. I have found another person on this forum with same issue (No signal on tv, then xbox shuts down on its own) from RussDaBus.

The answer came from BakyOsijekHr. What I did

Power on the console wait 10 secondes and then hold the power button on the console until it power off.

Unplug power cord wait 30 sec and then plug it back.

you might need a second person from now.

Press and hold the bind (controller sync button located on the right side of the console) and the eject button

and then just press the xbox button on the console once.

continue holding the bind and eject buttons for 10-15 seconds

listen for two "power up" tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the bind and eject buttons after

the second power-up tone. (not sure if I really heard the tone but I did release after 15 seconds +)

The console did power up to a startup troubleshooter menu.

I choose to reset the xbox and kept the app and game, the rest was like starting a brand new console.

    I hope it help others.

Try plugging it directly into a wall outlet or get a better surge protector. If power is your concern possibly its nothing to do with the hdmi plug in regards to power

"everything i try same result, it turn off by himself after a couple of minutes."

Check the ventilation holes on the sides of the console for dust and clean them.

Overheating causes shutdown initiated by a safety feature.

As Mythic Sandman advised, plug the console into a separate wall socket, not into a power board or surge protector. The
console may not be getting the power it requires to operate correctly.
