Hdmi cord not working anymore?!

I own a standard HDMI cord which was working perfectly until i plugged it into my laptop. I was seeing if my xbox would work if it was plugged into a something other than the Tv and to see if the picture would convert to the screen. It did not work so i
plugged it back into my TV and now the quality is terrible. Its very blurry and pixelated. Can someone please tell me how to fix this issue? I really dont want to buy a new cord seeing how expensive they are.

Xbox Slim Does not Come with HDMI Cables?

ok link is not working well just go on ebay and get a hdmi cord for 2bucks

HDMI port not working

My sons slim 4 gig 360 hdmi isn't working . when I bought it for him it was working with hdmi and now it says format not supported . The av cords work with it though. What's wrong ?

*I got the picture to work but now my audio is not working??!! How do i make my audio work. it was also working fine but now there is no audio what so ever.

Sounds to me that the cord may be bad. Make sure it is firmly pressed into the back of both the console and tv. Also, if you are using dvi adapter to use hdmi, you won't get sound. A standard hdmi cable is relatively cheap, I got a 6ft cord for less than
$10 for my son.

My screen went black and I tried 2 different HDMI cords plus I tried the HDMI cords on my cable and they worked

Yes it has multiple HDMI ports. So what I was wondering was even if the cable I've been looking at say HDMI to AV, as long as I hook up the AV cables to the ports in the DISH " AV output" and the HDMI cord into the HDMI on the one. Then use another HDMI
cord to connect the Xone to my TV. Problem solved? Or will that cord not work?

Have you used the cord on another HD Device to ensure the cord is working properly? If the cord is new or is working correctly,the problem may be in which HDMI port for your XBOX you are using on your television. The XBOX will connect to slots HDMI 1 and
2 on my Television but if I plug it into HDMI 3, it will not read the input. Try plugging it into a different port and see if it works.
