Hdmi connection weak after a few minutes of watching something

I've got the same issue this evening, whilst trying to watch TV and when my wife tried to play Thief. Power supply seems to be OK, everything is connected fine at the back (although removed the HDMI In lead now so we can watch TV) but after a few minutes
the console just powers off. Have switched the console off now but would appreciate any help!

Thanks for the suggestion, but after turning my console this morning the problem seems to have gone away.

Last night, almost immediately after I posted this, it connected to Live, but it was EXTREMEMLY slow. I was trying to watch a movie through Netflix, but after several minutes of buffering it would say that the source is too weak or something along those
lines. I tested my internet connection via speedtest.net (on my laptop) & have a speed of over 12Mbps. I attempted to watch the same show in my laptop & it loaded immediately.

I just turned on my console & Netflix loaded & buffered like it normally does.

Thanks I tried both but it didn't help. The delay is just random. Watching the network activity the last time I had to wait over 30 minutes to load while it was downloading at 25mbps. Even with the fastest connection it's something wrong to download so much
data. This happened after the latest xbox one update. Even now I have to wait randomly from one to a few minutes to load.

I'm having the same problem with quality on my Xbox one. Have a 1080p HDTV, using HDMI, have super nice internet connection, but the quality on Netflix is horrid. Every 5 minutes it stops to buffer too. Can't even watch something without adding an extra
30 minutes of buffering time through out the show. A new update that fixed this problem would be awesome.

Do you have a weak internet connection? You could also use the test connection feature on the Xbox Dashboard to see how strong your internet is. Another path to solving this problem would be to reset your router and wait a few minutes and turn the console
back on.
