    HDMI Color (Green and Purple hues) Problems.


    Hello everyone! Just wanted to know if anybody knew what was going on with my Xbox 360. It will display the screen only after I do the "Hold RT and Y down", but it's all miscolored in hues of purple and green. Anybody know why this is happening and how
    to fix it? I've tried with multiple cables, so I know it's not my HDMI cable.

    I'd appreciate any help!

    Kinect players replace purple cases with green cases?

    IDRC. I actually like the Purple/Green color scheme.

    Can we please have some more color choices?

    There are 5 different greens, 3 blues, and one purple. I don't consider pink or fuschia purples. I happen to like purple, so it would be great to have a darker "plumb crazy" purple, and indigo would be nice as well. Actually it would be cool to have a color
    wheel so we could choose whatever color we like.

    Hi there,

    you could try a different TV and or monitor to see if that makes any difference.

    If it does not make any difference then I'm afraid the console is experiencing hardware issues and needs a repair.

    You can request a repair via
    http://myservice.xbox.com     it will also show if the console is still within warranty or not etc

    If you were using either a VGA or component cables, I would have suggested checking your TV's input settings to make sure they were set to RGB as this is a common issue. But since you are using HDMI, I don't think this would be the problem though you might
    want to check anyway just to be sure. More than likely the video is going out on the console and it will need to be sent in for repairs if it is not your TV's settings.
