    HDMI cec volume control stuck going up all the way or down neee to change increments


    Every time I use my media remote, the guide or my app to adjust the volume on my series x it either goes all the way to max when I press up or all the way to mute if I press down. I’m baffled and I’ve tried everything. Any help would be much appreciated. TIA

    I have a soundbar hooked up to my XB1 and it doesn't respond properly when I use the "volume up" or "volume down" commands. I have it set to change in increments of 5, but it only ever changes in increments of 1. :(

    Ok, this feature is VERY cool. I use the volume up/down voice commands all the time and it got really old having to repeat the command over and over again. I changed it to 7 and that seems to be a good increment.

    Of course, what would be even cooler would be the ability to say "Xbox volume up X", but this is at least a big improvement.

    Under settings, then TV and One guide, then troubleshooting, then audio to be a little more precise.

    Pop into troubleshooting i think it is in the TV app. Weird place to have it, probably why loads of users can't find it.
