    HDMI and bluetooth

I feed my XBOX One output via HDMI to my Dell INspiron 23 all-in-one computer. This works great. I typically listen to the audio via a wired headset plugged into the headphone jack of the computer. So far, so good.

I want to be able to go with a wireless bluetooth headset. The Dell PC supports bluetooth. I got a Philips SHB/7000 bluetooth headset. It pairs with no problem with the PC - all audio coming from the PC can be heard on the headset. When I switch from PC
mode to HDMI mode however, the HDMI audio cannot be heard over the bluetooth headphones.

I'm sure some XBOXer out there is using a similar setup. Is it possible (via windows settings(?)) to make the HDMI audio input from the XBOX come out through the bluetooth speaker system of the Dell?

    thanks,

    wgk

    :)

    Can you use Bluetooth?

Hey ToxicPhoenix010! The Xbox doesn't have the ability to connect via Bluetooth. You will need to use an HDMI or optical audio cable to connect the console. Thanks!

  3. 1 Xbox one for MULTI Room setup

    I think it could work.

    the controllers use wifi direct

(Wi-Fi Direct devices can reach each other at a maximum distance of 656 feet (more than two football fields) away. So, practically, even if it is half of that, it would connect all your devices across home, no matter how big is your place.

you would need an HDMI splitter. from the xbox output and then 1 cable into each TV, would also need some very long HDMI cables and have to run it in walls to make it look clean. you can buy HDMI wall plates and hook the wires form the splitter through the
wall into the wall plate behind your TV to make it clean then just connect another HDMI cable from the wall plate to the TV.

Connecting Xbox series S to a speaker

    It's not assumption

You gotta remember audio is lossless is best

    HDMI has the best output

Bluetooth can stutter with heavy load

You are talking about gbps.NOT MBPS with your assumption

With your assumption your best option would be wifi

    Not bluetooth

Optical or HDMI are the preferred with audiophiles

Optical for digital and analog and HDMI for digital

Wireless earbuds that support Xbox connect, is there such a thing?

You can plug a 3.5mm Bluetooth adapter into the headphone Jack. Please be aware of the likelihood of lag

You can also connect the Xbox via HDMI to a receiver that has Bluetooth

Why Does Xbox not Support Bluetooth

Spund thru bluetooth isnt the best

Using hdmi or optical out is more effecient as they are high bandwidth cables

Cannot connect Xbox One S to Asus

Are you attempting to connect an xBox console or a controller?

If a console then it isn’t possible unless you have a HDMI in connection either on the laptop or a monitor - on a laptop the HDMI is just for connecting to an external monitor.

To connect a controller then connect either via Bluetooth or plug if wired plug in to a USB socket.
