HDMI adaptor for old xbox 360

Hi, I'm from the Uk and have the first version of the Xbox 360. I have got a HD TV and it's fair to say the picture quality is extremely poor, because it is the old xbox 360, there is no HDMI port. Is there an adaptor or converter that i can buy to get the
HD quality or will I have to buy a newer console?

Stereo headset no TV audio jack

I have the 250Gig elite, It is connected to my TV via HDMI but I have an adaptor which came with an older xbox, conected to the original output on 360, This adaptor has left and right Phono output for audio, My Turtle beach X3's are connected to this adaptor.

HD Cables

Hi. I have quite an old XBox now, it doesn't have an HDMI port. My TV only has HDMI high def. input. Is there any cable or adaptor that provides a work around that will allow me to have HD graphics?

You should be able to go to your local electronics store and purchase a composite to HDMI converter. You would then connect the composite cable to the converter and then connect that to the TV.

However, please realize that due to the pass-through you are enabling your picture may not be as good as you would like.

Composite can output at HD, like the above poster said. Make sure you get a converter--however, you get what you pay for and the cheap ones will have delay. So do your research. Try a couple.

My TV is old and I am using an adaptor box which the HDMI cable plus into and then splits into the three cables is this the problem?

Well if you were using the Xbox 360 audio adaptor you obviously won't be able to use that one the Xbox One due to the fact that it's HDMI out only. What I recommend is go to a Radio Shack (or another assorted electronic parts store) and pick up a Red and
White A/V to 3.5mm (regular headphone) adaptor. Then plug the two leads into the adaptor and then the adaptor to the headphone jack of your TV. If your headset came with an adaptor like that, then use that.
