    Hi!

    I'm currently using an Xbox 360 slim and need to get a new hard drive. I stopped by my local store and I bought a 1tb HDD for 120$.

    The problem is, there's no case.

    It's just the plain HDD, not the black case. I'm sure most of you understand. It does have insertion points at one end, but I don't know if it'll work.

    I'm currently overseas and need to know within the next few hours before I leave. Will the HDD fit without the black case or should I return it and get my money back?

    Destiny Without HDD?

    Simple question do you NEED a HDD disk to play destiny, or can you play it on an xbox 360 with a 4gig internal memory(not HDD) unite and a 32gigs of external memory?

    it's not system tampering, you are just putting your hdd in your new console without paying unnecessary funds for the same hdd with correct hdd case. in doing so, there is no tampering with data, just moving your hdd. to ban for that would be dumb because
    he paid for that HDD, if he removes the plastic, its his choice. The slim hdd case has no screws or security labels on it to prevent you from opening it and putting a larger XBOX hdd in it.

    Hi Smiley. If it works without the hard drive, that is telling us the hard drive is in the process of failing. In that case, you will want to purchase a new HDD.
