    HDD not displaying installed games

I'm running the preview alpha. My HDD is detected, but showing at 100% capacity with no games installed. I've tried power cycling, removing the HDD and doing the same then plugging it back into the Xbox One X, and contacted Xbox support info Twitter, hoping
for and not receiving an answer. Please advise. I'm hoping this doesn't involve me reinstalling almost 4GB of games in some fashion.

    :)

Installed Games not displaying in My Games

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps?

Installed Games not displaying in My Games

I have this issue that I first noticed last week, roughly after the latest update to the UI.

When I go to My Apps and Games, I am able to select Apps and do see what I have installed. But when I select Games, I see a message that simply says "when I install games, I will see them in this list'. I have well over 20 games installed, including digital
only games and none of them are displayed. When I scroll to the right I see games I can install that are currently not installed and even when I install those, none of them are displayed in the list.

I was part of the new UI preview and it was working during that time, it wasn't until after the launch that I noticed the problem. I also have an external drive plugged in as well but I've had that for several months now.

    Please advise, Thanks!

    HDD not displaying installed games

    Hi

When you are in My games & apps on the console at the very top of the list above all of the games are a set of filter options, can you please check to make sure that this has been set to show All storage. If this does not resolve your problem for better
support can you please post this in the
    Xbox Insider forums

It wasn't and isn't that the storage isn't being detected. It's that it recognizes the hard drive is plugged in, tells me it's at 100% capacity, and shows no games. It tells me that I have 250 games ready to install even though it can identify the hard drive.

  6. Thanks for reaching back out, Icextentialist!

To help us narrow this down further, would you be able to test another hard drive connected to the console, and let us know if you see the same issue with that one?

Also, have you had a chance to post regarding this in the
    Xbox Insider Forums
? The preview updates are beta software, so there may be bugs to iron out here and there, and they would be best able to look into that more directly on their end.

Unfortunately, I don't have another hard drive to test since my other one is dead. I can't remember if I posted in the Insider forum, but I'll go ahead and do that, too. It was listed as a known issue and just got taken off the list with the latest update
on May 7th, but I'm still having the issue.

    HDD not displaying installed games

I just noticed I have already posted it in the Insider forum. I got a response from an Xbox Ambassador, but Xbox support hasn't touched the topic.

So I finally caved and found a phone number to call Xbox support. After getting through, only to have my original call drop, I tried again. The 2nd time was the charm, albeit a bit tarnished. My storage drive had been corrupted and I am in the process of
reinstalling all 250+ games and DLC. I jump around a bit when I'm gaming, so not having access to the entire game collection was crushing me. In a few days, I'll hopefully have it all back in working order...
