    HDD not being recognized on my Xbox One S


    I’m on alpha skip ahead, it’s being 3 days since my Xbox one S stopped recognizing my external HDD, I’ve tried it on my PC and had no issues. Hard reset, reconnecting, done all of that and still no fix.

    John, if LeoAmes17's statement is correct on why Advent Rising, Gladius, Otogi: Myth of Demons, Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors, STAR WARS Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast, and STAR WARS Starfighter Special Edition is not showing up on my Xbox 360, then the only remaining issue is Dead or Alive 4. This is a Xbox 360 game. I was able to download it to my Xbox One but not my Xbox 360.

    Also, the issue is still there that my Xbox One is not picking up several previously downloaded Xbox 360 and OG Xbox BC games that are on my external HDD. They are only recognized when I attempt to re-download the games but nothing is actually downloaded. I am going to report it as you suggested. The external HDD is fine because my native Xbox One games are being recognized.

    Is the external drive not being recognized by your Xbox? PC? Its possible the external HDD may need to be replaced...

    To listen music or play videos, the HDD must be formatted in FAT32/NTFS (not exFat). However it happened to me once, the HDD was not recognized, I

    cleared the cache     and the HDD was recognized.

    The HDD reader is not really something that can be damaged easily that probability is quite low, and even being a device that has games that require some modd the HDD will be at least recognized.

    Its more likely that the HDD doesn't really works or it's not configured for Xbox 360
