  1. HDD for multimedia recognized but not appear (Omega - 2108.210920-1815) - Series X

Since the last update in Omega Ring (2108.210920-1815) my Hdd doesn't appear in the system menu for capture multimedia.

I've tried to change it to another USB but it stil dosen't appear. The HDD works well with my PC, and, in addition, is the same HDD that I always use for capture multimedia in Series X.

Futhermore, I've tried to use another HDD, when I plugged it to the console system, appeared the message that if you want use it for storage games or multimedia, when I chose "multimedia", the mesasge dissapeared, ok, but then the HDD didn' appear in the system.

I've tried to reset the console, do a hard reset but the result is always the same. I've reported the issue in the system as well.

Any idea? I have to record gameplays for my youtube channel HDD for multimedia recognized but not appear (Omega - 2108.210920-1815) - Series X :(

    Thanks in advance

My Series X no longer recognises my Samsung T5 external SSD for media. Help!

I'm having the exact same problem. I have a Seagate 5TB external storage that is no longer detectable for multimedia usage after the sept 24 system update on xbox series x. A friend of mine who has a xbox one x is having similar issues with a 4 tb HDD. The bizarre thing is if I connect any HDD with 1TB (or less), it's detectable with no issues. Hopefully this bug is fixed soon.

my xbox one got the new Dashboard, but my series x didn’t get the dashboard

Preview omega may not have the new dash yet, hence why the series X doesn't have it.

    My xbox friends list disappeared

I'm having the same issue on Xbox Series X. Zero friends showing.

I'm also in the Omega Insider program thing, in case that should be known.

: Does Xbox work on Skyworth TV

If the TV or monitor has at least 1 HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface), it will work. That is the only requirement. This applies to all Xbox branded consoles (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X)
