    HDD ERROR


    Hi everybody

    When I install a game on the hard drive
    of my xbox360 S and run it, after 5mn the console displays
    "failure of authorization"
    and restarts,

    when I run without having installed
    it, its works normally.



    So any solution to fix this problem?



    I tried to wipe cache of the drive, and formatted it

    HDD Error

    Can your Xbox read your old HDD? Is there some kind of security plastic on the HDD connector? Does the new HDD fit it smootly? Can it be placed on the same way as your old HDD?

    You can try to format your new HDD through the Xbox dashboard.

    Last tip, try cleaning your cache.

    Okay ive been searching the web for long enough to get frustrated about it.

    My HDD Will not be read in my xbox? i can only use it through the transfer lead..

    I have a XBOX 360 Premium.

    Ive just bought a 120gb and now it wont work Just because the xbox cant read it.

    What do i have to do to make it readable?

    Hey there, Is this issue happening with all your games or just one in particular?

    Also, Is your console connected to the internet etc. (There have been previous issues like this with certain games and patches have been issued as updates.)

    Xbox 360 HDD preventing game from reading

    If it gives you a disc is unreadable error, then the game is having a read error. The console assumes that the HDD will always have proper (no error) reads. If the game is on your HDD and it gives you that error, it could mean your HDD is starting to flake
    out. If the game is read off of the disc, then something else is causing it to give you the error. Free up some room on your HDD and try to install the game.

    This is what I think should be done about games with multiple discs.

    Games are written to run from disc. Installing the games to HDD does not change this. The games still behave as if they're running from optical media, not HDD. Read error on the HDD? You get a disc read error in-game. If they cache to the 360 HDD, when installed
    to HDD they then thrash the HDD as they try to cache from a HDD image to the cache area on the HDD (big problem for Halo 3).



    For better or for worse, I would not expect anything to change this generation.

    Console getting slow as grandma

    Sounds more like errors on the HDD causing the HDD to retry over and over.

    Pull the HDD, subsitute a flash drive, and see if things get better?
