HDD almost full 96%----> Slow Start-Up?

Ive managed to fill my Hdd with lots of games. Right now im at 96% usage.

So the last few times i started up my xbox one, i realised, it takes more and more time for it to start.

Does somebody have the same issues? up to 12 minutes.

I bought an extern hdd so thats no problem anymore, but i realy wonder if theres an issue with that.

Now that i have enough space, i'll left the internal hdd completly empty and still have these long start ups!?

Is there anything else i should know?

    :)

  2. Corrupted Profile

You should try Recovering your gamertag. Then clear the HDD Cache. Then try again. The Cache eventually will slow down your console quite a bit.

    System>Memory>Scroll on Your HDD>Click (Y)>Clear System Cache

  3. Why does music take so long to load?

Try doing system maintenance and see if it speeds up your xbox.

Sometimes with me if my xbox is running slow its always related to how much memory I have left on my HDD. Or with you, your USB. Is your USB almost/completely full?

How long has it been since a hard reset. You could try doing a hard reset like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug
the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

Worst Console (Maybe just COD:AW?) to Date - Change My Mind

The UI really only started to slow down once the internal HDD was almost full, I'm also on the preview program so there may be artifacts. It's nothing horrible, in fact it's the same response time on my other overpriced new console starting with an S. At
the end of the day I don't really care that much.

My Xbox 360 Slim (Halo Reach Edition) runs slow now...

If you have reformatted your HDD and it is still running slow, I would almost bet that your HDD is failing.

One of the first signs of HDD failure is slow start-up. Thankfully, you should be able to get a replacement if your console is still under warranty.
    Contact Xbox

If your console is no longer under warranty, you can upgrade your HDD for a fair price. If you're unfamiliar with how to add or remove your HDD, check

    this
    out.

    Good luck and happy gaming!

    Harddrive broken?

unplug the hdd, fully shutdown console from the power menu in settings, start it back up, then do another full shutdown, then plug hdd in before starting up again, power on the hdd and then start console, if this does not work then the hdd may have gone
    completely.
